BOSS Hi-Band Flanger
This past week, I managed to land a very cool pedal in a trade- BOSS Hi-Band Flanger. The HBF was made in Japan in the 80's and is a unique flanger because it accentuates high frequencies to emphasize a dramatic flange effect.
Tonally, The HBF is thick and full. It colors well and while subtle and tasteful, it still gives the impression that your rig is falling out of a spaceship. If you happen upon one of these guys, I highly recommend it.
